Oracle at Acropolis

Oracle at Acropolis is a bit for the satisfaction of having a fun online journal and a bit for the excitement of having people I don't know, and who've just chanced upon the blog, comment. It isn't dedicated to anything in particular, so I'm comfortable keeping it personal, spur of the moment and moody :-)

Yesterday was Independance Day! We had a nice little housing complex ceremony where we sang songs that I hadn't sung since boarding school, so that was very pleasant. (Not that I enjoyed boarding school, I just enjoyed singing the songs.)
Also had my first class with Geeta Swamy. She is one of the few Math teachers with whom I have a good communication rapport. I think she'll be able to get me that 6...

Met Mr. Gangaram today for VIVUM Sponsorship along with Sassy, Sumeet and Esha. He did most of the talking which was funny because I was wondering how I was going to say all that I wanted to say without appearing garrulous before the meeting...Didn't get much out of it at the end of it all.
There's just so much advice from all sides - "do this", "do that". I think one really should ignore advice. As whowasit said, "Always ignore advice because, though good-intentioned, it is nearly always wrong" or something to that effect.

Have to go to Makkala today and do college work and do Chem and Physics and Math. Consolation is, I'll be out of school by May...
